*I received a free copy of this book through the Blogging For Books program in exchange for an honest review*

First review of 2016! I hope you are all having a good year so far!

Review under the cut!
I was REALLY hoping and expecting to love this book. I mean, Paris and books are two of my absolute favorite things so I HAD to love it right? Not really.

There are things I love about it. I love that it was set in France, I love the idea of a book apothecary, I love the using books for money.

But honestly I was really bored while reading this. I started it in like June of 2015? and just yesterday made it halfway. And even then I had to force myself to make it that far. I know there are tons of people who fell in love with this book and could not stop reading it but I just could not get into it. It felt really slow moving and I didn't connect with the characters.

Perdu kind of bugged me with his whole 'It's been 20 years but I'm not going to open this letter or go in that room or do anything that reminds me of her because I love her.' Like dude. Read the letter. You should have read the letter 20 years ago.

I'm sure some of you would LOVE this book but it just wasn't for me.
