*I received a free copy of this book through the Blogging for Books program in exchange for an honest review*

Prayers For The Stolen is about a young girl name Ladydi who lives in the mountains of Guerrero, Mexico where it is dangerous to be a girl. Mothers disguise their daughters as boys and make them ugly so they will not be stolen.

This book was absolutely captivating. There were definitely some parts where I felt like things could have been left out but overall it was an incredible book.

I recently broke my laptop charger and have been trying to conserve my battery while I wait for a new one. Not being able to use my computer means lots of time to read. I have had this book sitting on my nightstand for a few weeks now I decided to finally start reading it. That was at maybe 10-11 pm? I finished the book around 2 am. It was the first book in a long time that I have read straight through without getting up to go do something else for a while. I just could not stop reading it.

I don't want to spoil the story because it is quite the read, but I will say that these characters are so fleshed out and the story is so well written that you will also be pulled in.

Story: 4.5/5
Writing:4/5
Total:4/5
