I'm trying to catch up on my reviews so forgive me if I haven't gotten to yours yet!

Ashley Brannock has always thought she was just an ordinary woman, like so many others. She has a loving boyfriend. A great job. She has everything she could have ever wanted. But she has always felt that something was missing. She’s never quite been able to pin down what it is. All she knows is that it’s been there her whole life.

Then the dream begins, throwing her life into total chaos. She must now find the answers to the dream. Why her? What is it showing her? The answers will open a whole new view of the world to her. This new view will reveal to her that love can go beyond time. - Official Synopsis from Goodreads

I'm splitting this review into two categories: Story and Writing.

Story 5/5: This story is phenomenal. I love the idea of Ashley being a modern day character and dreaming these memories for a long time ago. It's a fantastic idea that hasn't been done a million times and I really like that. It's new and it's fantastic.

Writing 1.5/5: This is what dragged me down. As much as I loved the story, I had a hard time getting passed the writing style. I feel like almost everything was over-explained and could have been condensed. I noticed a lot of times where the same thing would be stated twice in the same sentence, or two sentences in a row. It reminded me of when you try to reach the word count on an essay and you are writing the same sentence 15 different ways to get there. I started this book back in August and just finished it because as much as I loved the story and wanted to know what was going to happen next, the writing was hard for me to get into.

Overall I would give this book 3 stars.
